What is Gludin used for?

Gludin is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

How much and how often should Gludin be taken?

Gludin is taken initially at 500 mg as a single dose and increased as needed up to 2 g daily in divided doses.

What are the possible side effects of Gludin?

Gludin can cause gastrointestinal adverse effects including anorexia, nausea, and diarrhea. Patients may also experience metallic taste and there may be weight loss.

What is the available pack size of Gludin?

Gludin is metformin HCl 500 mg film-coated tablet available in blister pack of 10’s in a box of 100’s and metformin HCl 850 mg film-coated tablet available in blister pack of 10’s in a box of 100’s.
