What is Dalamax used for?

Dalamax is an antibiotic used to treat anaerobic infections including some staphylococcal and streptococcal infections. It is also used in the treatment of gynecological infections such as bacterial vaginosis.

How much and how often should Dalamax be taken?

For adults, the usual dose of Dalamax is 150 to 300 mg every 6 hours. The dose is increased to 300 to 450 mg every 6 hours for severe infections.

What are the possible side effects of Dalamax?

Possible side effects experienced with intake of Dalamax are abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Sometimes, patients might also develop rashes and skin allergies.
