Abdin is an antipsychotic drug used for acute and maintenance treatment of schizophrenia.
Abdin is taken at a starting dose of 10 mg/day or 15 mg/day administered once daily. Dose may be increased up to 30 mg/day as needed.
Common side effects of Abdin are constipation, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, headache and insomnia. Less common side effects are increased heart rate and lower blood pressure. Extrapyramidal symptoms like akathisia and dyskinesia are uncommon.
Abdin is Aripiprazole 5 mg tablet available in blister pack of 10's in a box of 30's and Aripiprazole 10 mg tablet available in blister pack of 10's in a box of 30's.
